Gino received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel. He began his career with Fluor Daniel as a field engineer and later became a project manager. His first project was the $45 million Peace Center of the Performing Arts in Greenville, SC. He developed his broad construction experience through a variety of commercial and industrial projects which included: GM Automotive Plant modernization, Lordstown, OH; construction of new jails in McKinney, Angleton, and El Paso, TX; Greenville County Courthouse, Greenville, SC; and the Church Street parking garage, Greenville, SC.

After working at Fluor Daniel, Gino went to Vercon Construction, Inc. where he concentrated on commercial, light industrial, assisted living, and multifamily construction. In two years he closed-out and turned over 1,600 multifamily units (apartments and condos).

In 2003, Gino joined Pierce Homes of Carolina as Vice President of construction. His responsibilities included all aspects of construction and managed land development, purchasing, estimating, production, design, and warranty departments.

Gino founded Colmar Contracting, Inc. in 2008 and continues to provided quality construction and services to businesses throughout the Southeast.

David Herron comes to Colmar Contracting with 30 years of construction experience. He has managed a wide variety of multifamily and commercial projects through the Southeast United States. In his previous position with LandSouth Construction, he was responsible for managing multifamily projects in Lawrenceville, GA, Chattanooga, TN & Indian Land, SC while running the Greenville, SC office.

Prior to working with LandSouth, David spent fifteen years with Vercon Construction and nine years with Creative Builders managing multifamily & commercial projects. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.

Richard Byrd has been with Colmar Contracting for ten years and has 38 years of construction experience. He is responsible for the day to day over site for a variety of multifamily and commercial projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Prior to working with Colmar Contracting, he held positions with various companies where he managed apartment construction and commercial projects. Previous commercial projects include Carolina Meadows Assisted Living, Sales Training Center Glaxo, Liberty University Athletic Complex & Weston One Office Building. He managed construction of over 2,500 apartment units.

Brandon Dixon comes to Colmar Contracting with 17 years of construction experience. He was a construction manager for Wynnefield properties where he spent six years working on multifamily projects throughout North Carolina.

In addition to working with Wynnefield properties Brandon worked with System Works, Inc and Whitting- Turner Company in Raleigh, NC as a field engineer on a variety of commercial projects from data centers to pharmaceutical plants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from North Carolina A & T University.
